Due to insufficient entries there will be no racing at Portmarnock Raceway on this coming Sunday 21st however qualifiers and workouts will be held with a 10am start. All Horses for qualifying must be on site from 9.00am for a prompt start (with Passport)as the track must be vacated by 11.30 am to facilitate the Golf Driving Range. All money from the qualifiers goes towards a rent payment for the use of the track on Sunday morning. Contact Mark Flanagan 086-2698389, Bernie Kelly 087-6330035.
We are confident that racing will commence on Sunday 28th April as commitments have been given from owners and trainers for upwards of 40 Horses.
SHRI needs support and cooperation from all quarters at this critical juncture, the Club has a lease agreement that needs to be adhered to and many financial commitments that need to be met on a day to day basis.
Just a final reminder that Club Membership fees MUST be paid in advance of racing, invoices have been issued in the last month to the majority of members. There will be an opportunity to have these fees paid at Portmarnock on Sunday to any member of the Committee.
Please do not be part of the minority to spoil it for the majority.
