Following our Announcement of the Juvenile Stakes Programme last week, we are overwhelmed at the response from trainers on both sides of the Irish Sea. To make this series, more competitive and successful, and to crown the best 2YO & 3YO currently in training in the IHRA and BHRC, we have made the following changes to the series, which will enhance the overall prizemoney of the competition as all money raised will be given back to the stakeholders.

The IHRA have decided to hold two eliminations at a BHRC venue (see dates below), along with the original four eliminations being held on 16th August & 6th September at the Red John Memorial in Lyre and Portmarnock, respectively.

The structure of the finals has also changed with the top 8 horses in each division, from both IHRA & BHRC progressing to a Gold Final and horses from 9th-16th,competing in a Silver Final.

In the event of more than ten horses entering to compete in a division, two eliminations will be ran. An Additional 50% of the original purse will be added to the original total purse and the two eliminations will then run equal prizemoney. A €50 entry fee will be imposed on all eliminations to help cover the costs, should there be a requirement to split the entries.

The nomination for all horses will close on this coming Monday, 8thJune and the second sustaining payment will be on Wednesday 1st July. Both payments due are €350.

An online Entry form can be accessed at the bottom of this notice for all trainers wishing to enter the programme. The dates and the prizemoney for the competition are as follows:
