After 38 Heats of the Le Trot 3 Year Old Championship, the final average points, based on a minimum of 6 races is as follows.
Declarations of all 3 Year Olds close tomorrow evening with the entries for this Sunday’s races at Portmarnock.
Withdrawals will have be made by 17.00pm on Friday 15th September to the IHRA office.
The reason why we need withdrawals on Friday is that horses on equal points will need to be converted to their lifetime earnings to decide on what finals they will be placed in and from the table there are 16 horses which fit this category.
Remember the following terms of the series in relation to the final:
• In the event of horses with the same average the horse with the highest total prize money goes in the higher race, if that is also the same then its ballot.
• The total numbers of horses for each Final are evenly split but if there is an odd number highest grades are allocated the extra horse.
• All horses ballot for position in Final
• No splitting for Trainers/Owners in Finals.
