Portmarnock Raceway

1/2 Mile 804m
surface: all weather hard track

The Track is located just outside  Dublin city and  10 minutes  from Dublin International Airport.

Portmarnock Raceway was originally opened in 1969 before closing in 2004 when the ground was sold for property development which never happened. The recession in 2008 resulted in a sharp downturn in the housing market and the track remained idle until an approach was made to the owner by the committee of Standardbred Harness Racing Ireland. After 7 years of silence at the track, races were held in June 2011.
Now at least 20 meetings each season are  bringing new records to the world of harness racing.

Track facilities include spacious car park, clubhouse, bar, playground, bookie stands etc..
