Agriculture Oireachtas Committee proposed amendments to include Harness Racing within the Horse Racing Bill 2015 ruled out of order by the Bills Office at yesterdays meeting as Minister Coveney once again pledges his commitment to deal with the requirements and funding needs for harness racing
The Committee are to furnish a report to the Minister following next weeks meeting when Horse Racing Ireland and Horse Sport Ireland representatives meet with the Oireachtas Committee.
