As the Irish delegation touched down in Paris last night following a heavy 7 day schedule on the Tour d’France having viewed close on 100 horses the final selections have now been made with 46 Trotteur Francais horses in the bag for Ireland 2015.
Trottuer Francais races will now be held in all three racing jurisdictions in Ireland in 2015 as both the Cork and Northern Ireland horse owners have now come on board and made their purchases.
Next on the agenda is the International meeting at Vincennes on 29th/30th November where Alan Wallace will drive in the International race representing Ireland as the leading Irish Trotteur Francais Driver for 2014. Joseph Caffrey will recieve an award as owner of the leading Irish Trotteur Francais Horse for 2014 Romalus Augenaies.
Expect some further major announcements in the coming weeks on some of the planned activity between Le Trot and Ireland for 2015 and beyond ……….watch this space.
