Three Year Old Trot Championship 2021
The 2021 series is worth €110,000, where the final’s purses will race for €45,000.

Ten Qualifying Days (2/3 Divisions per qualifying day)
Average Heat prize money €3,000 (split Gold (36%), Silver (33%), Bronze (30%); Based on six Horses)
Races run over 1 Mile, 1 1/4 & 1 1/2 Mile (Race distance will be decided by race course committee based on venue)
Heats Preferred handicap based on a points system.
First two heat days will be an open draw, with points going to 1st, 2nd & 3rd, (12, 6 & 3).
Heat days three – ten will be run on points, Gold Silver & Bronze heat system, Highest in Gold and work down after that.
Final 1 1/2 Miles Total amount of Horses entered for finals will be split equal,
Horses with the highest points into Gold and work down after that with Monies won (in the last five races) deciding Horses on same points.
Uneven number will go into Gold and work down.
Finals will be FFA
Championship will Start in June 2021

Sustaining Fee January 15th €200
2nd Sustaining Fee February 15th €200
3rd Sustaining Fee March 15th €200
Once horse is nominated it will automatically becomes liable for sustaining fee on due dates unless
written instructions is given to IHRA before due date to withdraw Horse.
Four Year Old Trot Series 2021
The IHRA will hold a Four Year Old Trot series for horses that where eligible for the 2020 Three Year Old Trot Championship.
The qualifying races will be held on the same weekend as that of the 2021 Three Year Old Championship.
Finals to be held same weekend as Three Year Old Championship.
Average Heat prize money €3,000 (split Gold (36%), Silver (33%), Bronze (30%); Based on six Horses)
Qualifying Heats 1 Mile, 1 1/4 & 1 1/2 Mile Heats Preferred handicap based on a points system.
Points from 2020 season will be calculated and allocated to each individual horse, with points going to 1st, 2nd & 3rd, Gold Silver & Bronze heat system.
Your 2020 points will determine the horses in the heats, with highest starting in Gold and working down after that.
Finals – FFA & 1.5 Miles
Gold €12,000; Silver €6,500 Consolation €3,500

***Fully paid up horse entered in the Three & Four Year old series will be eligible to enter in the open class races when no qualifying are been held. Grade system to be finalised at a later date.
