Irish Succeed in Argentan

The annual  friendship challenge  organised by the International Department of LeTrot at the Hippodrome d’Argentan in  French Normandy, has  finished  with the win and a good set of placings.

In professional race Sean Kane, steered his first winner in France.  Prior this race meeting Sean had four 2nd  places  and one fifth on  his LeTrot  record.

Apprentice race turned out to be  even more competitive  with   Irish braving the front and challenging french opponents all the way around and  beaten  by  french driver Quentin Michel  on the line.
Irish  apprentices still took  great positions:
2nd Oisin Quilll
3rd Freddy Kavanagh
4th Aidan Caffrey
5th Jonathan Cowden

Next date with the French team will take place at Portmarnock Raceway in 2020
